Terms and Conditions

When purchasing tracks for use in your production we will ask you to sign an agreement for use before we start working together. It’s nothing scary and just makes sure we are all protected, here are a few things we put in the agreement and reasons for them.

  1. You must have secured the rights to perform an amateur production from the rights holders. We want to ensure at every stage to comply with the rights holders and original creators of the work and by securing the rights to the show we are ensuring that the writers and orchestrators are receiving their full royalty for the production – even though you are not using a band. We will not provide tracks to an unlicensed production and we may ask to see proof of license. At the end of the day, we at PM Backing Tracks are creatives too and we want to be sure that we are protecting the incredible people who make these amazing musicals.
  2. Payment will be taken upfront. The payment is due on signature of the agreement, once we have received both we then provide you with a Dropbox link with the tracks. We will update this dropbox link with your edits as they are requested so make sure to hold on to it!
  3. The tracks are for the expressed use of the purchaser. Each set of tracks we send out is only licensed for the use in the stated production and is encoded with the details of those who hired the production. They are not to be shared or distributed to any other person or put on-line in any form. Doing so will incur a fee for damages of up to £3500.

We love working with amateur productions and we always want to make sure your show is the best it can be so make sure to get in contact and discuss with us if you have any queries or worries and we will be more than happy to work with you.
